Parking

If you are attending cricket at Hagley Oval, always allow more time than you expect to get to and from the venue and aim to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the game. Traffic congestion can be heavy for the majority of cricket events, particularly during peak commuter travel times around the City Centre.

We ask that you try to avoid the use of Riccarton Ave where possible. There is limited parking on surrounding streets. If attending Cricket events, there is no parking available at the Sir Richard Hadlee Sports Centre.

We recommend car pooling or parking in nearby streets.

There are sealed walking tracks around the outside of South Hagley Park- along Deans Ave Riccarton Ave and Hagley Ave. There is also a sealed path that ws a short cut between Deans Ave and Hagley Ave.
